Spring Break

This spring break I spent a few days playing in a hockey tournament. Friction, force , power, work and velocity all having to do with physics and hockey. In order for your legs to start moving, momentum has to work with you, as your doing so your speed will increase as your moving down the ice. When you go to take the shot on net, force is being created on the puck so you can have a hard and powerful result. Lastly the metal blade on the bottom of your skate can glide with very little friction over the surface of the ice so you can play the game at a fast pace.
